We saw a variety of schooling fish, barracudas, black-tipped reef sharks, a stingray, the unique wobbegong, and beautiful corals. While we went scuba diving, our 7- and 9-year-old kids snorkeled above us and were able to several sea turtles, batfish, and even dolphins! The uniqui thing about this Embossed Sand is the emergence of sand in the midlle of the sea, not on the Embossed Sand will appear at certain hours at low tide. Sit on sandy bottom at 15 meters so suitable even for begininng divers and watch nature's greatest marine spectacle unfold before your eyes. And most others we talked to who went in May also saw at least 3 so dont believe you have to go in the rainy season, also the crowded season, to see them. Just do it. You take a long motorboat, hiked along the river bed and through the water, and then cut through the jungle. You could hear all types of birds and the famous bird of paradise while hiking. We even saw a small snake in the jungle. We brought a lunch and spent a few hours here. The water is cold and very refreshing! We met the local kids while eating ice cream, and then they showed us the cementary and beach area. A local elder invited us into his home for a tour and then we drank fresh coconut water grown in his yard. We saw the local school and the church. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming!
